ES Troyes AC 0 - 1 Saint-Etienne : St Etienne stay on tail of leaders with win

St Etienne kept up the pressure on Ligue 1 leaders PSG with a slender 1-0 win at Troyes.
A fifth successive league win for Les Verts meant they moved within a point of the current champions thanks to Thomas Ayasse's own goal.
Romain Hamouma was the architect on 13 minutes and his cross was turned into his own net by Ayasse as the visitors dominated.
Francois Clerc, Nolan Roux and Jonathan Brison all went agonisingly close to wrapping up the points for St Etienne but in the end one goal was enough to continue Troyes' winless start to the season.
