Paris Saint Germain 3 - 0 Guingamp : Paris St Germain continue unbeaten start to Ligue 1 season by beating Guingamp

Javier Pastore, Angel Di Maria and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all grabbed their first Ligue 1 goals of the season as Paris St Germain maintained their unbeaten start with a 3-0 win against Guingamp.

Laurent Blanc's men came into the game on the back of two disappointing draws with Bordeaux and Reims and, despite not looking entirely convincing at times, Pastore and Di Maria struck either side of the break to set the hosts up for a win before Ibrahimovic added a third.

A first win in three for PSG meant they went four points clear at the top for 24 hours at least while Guingamp, who came into the clash on the back of three successive wins without conceding a goal, remain in eighth.

As expected the hosts started on the front foot and, after a positive opening 15 minutes, they received their reward moments later when Pastore latched on to Ibrahimovic's through ball before beating Jonas Lossl with a clinical finish.

Despite coming into the game on the back of some fine form, the visitors continued to struggle after falling a goal behind.

Firstly, Ibrahimovic fired just wide after latching onto Maxwell's cutback before the talismanic number 10 saw his deflected effort well saved by the Guingamp goalkeeper Lossl.

The hosts were given a warning, though, just before the half hour mark when some lapse defending allowed Nill de Pauw a free header at goal but his weak effort was comfortably gathered by a thankful Kevin Trapp.

There was still time for Yannis Salibur to blaze one over from distance before the break as EAG finished the half on a minor high.

Both sides remained unchanged at the restart and PSG had an opportunity for a second soon after with a direct free-kick but Lossl stood up to Ibrahimovic's stinging effort as the game remained evenly poised.

The Swedish striker continued to torment the Guingamp defence and, after he combined well with Pastore on 51 minutes, only a last ditch clearance by Laurent Dos Santos prevented Lossl being beaten for a second time.

Nicolas Benezet provided another reminder to the current champions that Guingamp were not out of the game when his deflected shot just failed to find the target.

However, with 13 minutes left to play, PSG got a much needed second goal when Lossl spilled Ibrahimovic's effort, after he was fed in by Marco Verratti, before Di Maria pounced to wrap up the points.

There was still time for the hosts to add a third and miss a penalty when Ibrahimovic latched on to Di Maria's through ball before slotting the ball beyond Lossl.

Then, just moments later, Lossl came out on top of a duel with Ibrahimovic when he saved the Sweden International's spot-kick after Younousse Sankhare brought down Edinson Cavani.
