Manchester City midfielder David Silva is looks set to miss his side's Capital One Cup match against Sunderland on Tuesday due to a calf injury.
Silva was a late withdrawal from the Citizens side that lost 2-1 to West Ham on Saturday after suffering the calf injury during the warm-up prior.
Should Silva be sidelined for the match against Sunderland, he will join a long list of injury absentees, with City already without the services of defenders Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta, and Gael Clichy, as well as midfielder Fabian Delph.
City may also have to do without midfielder Samir Nasri and defender Eliaquim Mangala for the trip to the Stadium of Light. Nasri is still recovering from injury, while Mangala suffered a muscle injury during the loss to West Ham.
