Atalanta 1 - 1 Hellas Verona: Pisano gets the point as Atalanta are denied at the end

Eros Pisano scored a last-gasp equaliser on Sunday as 10-man Hellas Verona denied Atalanta their second win of the campaign in Bergamo.

Atalanta looked to be on their way to victory after Maximilano Moralez headed Alejandro Gomez's cross past Hellas goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini in the 89th minute.

The visitors had suffered a setback 10 minutes before when Bosko Jankovic was shown his second yellow card following a harsh challenge to Atalanta's Andrea Massiello.

Pisano came to the rescue when he nodded Federico Viviani's cross past a helpless Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello from six yards to earn his team a valuable point.

Sunday's outcome has left Hellas still searching for their first win of the campaign.
