A review of the weekend's action in Italy's Serie A as AC Milan bounce back from their derby defeat to beat Palermo.
Carlos Bacca of AC Milan celebrates after scoring his team's third goal
Two goals from Carlos Bacca helped AC Milan recover from last weekend's derby defeat to Inter with a 3-2 Serie A victory over Palermo at San Siro.
The Colombian, signed from Sevilla, flicked home an early opener before Oscar Hiljemark equalised with a header.
Giacomo Bonaventura's free-kick restored the Rossoneri lead before half-time, but Bacca was needed once again after Hiljemark converted his own brace midway through the second half.
Earlier, Massimo Maccarone scored a stoppage-time winner as Empoli clinched a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Udinese at the Stadio Friuli.
The Bianconeri were looking for their first home win of the season on Saturday night and Duvan Zapata's 19th-minute opener put them on the right track as he headed home Antonio Di Natale's cross.
But substitute Leandro Paredes equalised for Empoli from the penalty spot after Panagiotis Kone was dismissed for bringing him down in the area.
And two minutes into stoppage time, veteran striker Maccarone beat Orestis Karnezis with a right-footed drive after connecting with Riccardo Saponara's assist.
