Swansea have the chance to move above Everton in the Premier League standings when they clash at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Garry Monk's side have recorded two wins and two draws in their opening five games, although they slipped to a shock 1-0 defeat away to top-flight newcomers Watford at the weekend.
That run of results sees the Swans sitting eighth in the table, tied on eight points with the Toffees directly above them.
The Merseysiders have an identical record to their upcoming opponents and are chasing back-to-back victories in the league for the first time this term, having ran out surprise 3-1 victors over defending champions Chelsea last time out.
Monk has been boosted by the news that Ki Sung-yueng is available once more, with the South Korean midfielder having flown back home this week for the birth of his first child.
Winger Jefferson Montero is pushing for a start after only making the bench against the Hornets following a thigh injury. Wayne Routledge could make way in the starting line-up.
Visiting boss Roberto Martinez could be tempted to welcome back full-back Seamus Coleman and midfielder Muhamed Besic.
The pair were both forced off against the Blues with hamstring problems, but Martinez appears to be happy enough with their progress to include them in his matchday squad.
Ramiro Funes Mori and Steven Naismith are ready to deputise once again should the duo not travel to Wales.
