Cowdenbeath host league leaders Forfar this weekend and teenager Jamie Sneddon will keep his place in goal for the Blue Brazil after impressing in his outings against Airdrie and Peterhead.

Captain John Armstrong is available after a two-game ban, however, injuries continue to keep Jack Beaumont (foot) and Lewis Milne (knee) absent with Mo Yaqub missing out through suspension.

Player-manager Colin Nish said: "We showed a terrific spirit to get a draw last weekend after going behind twice and having Mo sent off.

"We will need to show that spirit again as Forfar are a very good side however if we can keep 11 men on the pitch we have a chance."

Forfar will be without Derek Young due to a groin strain sustained in the 2-0 victory over Brechin last weekend with Mark Baxter remaining out with a similar problem.

Andrew Black will come in to replace Young with a fit again Gavin Swankie also under consideration for a starting role with manager Dick Campbell saying: "I am pleased with how we played at Glebe Park. It was important to bounce back after losing to Dunfermline and we did that well.

"Cowdenbeath have impressed in their last couple of games so we are in for a tough afternoon if we do not go about our jobs correctly."
