Bury vs Port Vale preview - Bury's Andrew Tutte will miss Port Vale clash through injury

Andrew Tutte will be missing for Bury's Sky Bet League One home clash with Port Vale on Saturday due to an injury he picked up at Sheffield United.

The midfielder was forced off with a hamstring strain and will now miss at least eight weeks of action.

Ryan Lowe has suffered a setback in his calf problem and manager David Flitcroft is exercising caution over the 36-year-old, while fellow veteran forward Daniel Nardiello is nearing a return to full training following a back issue.

Defender Keil O'Brien (knee) is still a couple of weeks away and midfielder Kelvin Etuhu (leg) is unlikely to see the pitch again for another month yet.

Valiants midfielder Michael Brown could make his return to the first-team matchday squad at Gigg Lane.

Brown has not been involved for the last four games having picked up a knock, but played for the reserves on Wednesday.

Manager Rob Page has no fresh injury concerns from Tuesday's 2-0 loss to Millwall.

Midfielder Michael O'Connor and goalkeeper Chris Neal remain unavailable as they continue to work their way back from knee and ankle injuries respectively.
