Nantes 0 - 2 Stade Rennais FC : Rennes extend winning streak to four games

Rennes made it four successive Ligue 1 wins with a 2-0 victory over nine-man Nantes.

Paul Georges Ntep's notched for the first time the season, on his first start, to open the scoring and Giovanni Sio's late effort secured victory against a dogged Nantes side.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men when Adryan was given his marching orders early in the second half.

Ntep took full advantage of the hosts' disadvantage when he pounced on Sio's blocked shot to poke home midway through the second half.

And any slim chances of a Les Canaris comeback diminished when Kolbeinn Sigthorsson was given his marching orders before Sio wrapped up the points late on, breaking free of the Nantes defence before beating Maxime Dupe.
