Youssouf Sankhare's solitary strike was enough to secure a second successive Ligue 1 victory for Guingamp with a 1-0 win in Nice.
The visitors set their stall out early and were unlucky not to take the lead when Olivier Boscagli's effort came back off the upright.
The hosts continued to create the better chances and got their reward late in the game when Jimmy Briand's perfectly weighted pass released Sankhare and he did the rest.
Defeat for Claude Puel's men left them languishing in the bottom half of the standings with just one win to their name this season.
