Aurelien Joachim will return to the Burton squad for the visit of Rochdale.
The striker has been away on international duty with Luxembourg, where he was one of only four members of the group not affected by food poisoning ahead of their European Championship qualifier in Belarus this week.
Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has a handful of players nursing minor knocks following the home defeat to Coventry last weekend but the Dutchman, who did not name names, expects them all to be fit for Saturday.
On-loan Wolves winger Zeli Ismail (knee) and the versatile Darius Charles (leg) remain unavailable due to injury.
Rochdale will head for the Pirelli Stadium hoping to maintain the run of form which has seen them lose just one of their six league games to date, a 2-1 home defeat by Walsall on August 18.
Keith Hill's side might have been even better off had Ian Henderson not had a last-gasp penalty saved by Fleetwood keeper last Saturday with his side having to make do with a 1-1 draw despite going into the final three minutes 1-0 ahead.
New signing Nathaniel Mendez-Laing will hope for a debut after failing to make the 18 for the game at Highbury Stadium.
Midfielder Matty Lund, who underwent knee cartilage surgery in July, is closing in on a return after playing his first 90 minutes of the campaign in Wednesday's 3-2 Lancashire Senior Cup defeat by Manchester United.
