Bolton Wanderers vs Wolves preview - Ex Real Madrid defender in line for Bolton bow
Posted Friday, September 11, 2015 by PA
Former Real Madrid defender Derik Osede could make his Bolton debut against Wolves at the Macron Stadium.
Dorian Dervite serves a one-game suspension following his dismissal against Blackburn last time out, leaving a spot at centre-back which Osede, having now recovered from an ankle problem, could fill for his debut.
Captain Darren Pratley (ankle) is still not ready to return to Wanderers' midfield while defender David Wheater (Achilles) and striker Max Clayton (knee) are not expected to be on the sidelines much longer.
New signing Francesco Pisano played for the development squad on Thursday as he builds up his fitness but Paul Rachubka, recruited over the international break to provide cover for Ben Amos, should slot in on the bench.
Wolves striker Nouha Dicko is out for the season after suffering cruciate knee ligament damage before the international break.
Dicko was carried off in the 2-1 win over Charlton and is not expected to play again until next year.
Adam Le Fondre is expected to deputise for Dicko but boss Kenny Jackett is still keen on bringing in striking reinforcements.
Winger Nathan Byrne could make his debut after joining from Swindon last month while Danny Batth will play for the Under-21s on Saturday as the defender battles back from a broken foot he suffered at the end of last season.
