Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha believes Anthony Martial will be a huge success at Old Trafford and revealed he has been dubbed the next Thierry Henry.
The 19-year-old forward joined Manchester United from Monaco on deadline day of the transfer window for an initial £36million with add-ons that could see the fee rise to as much as £58million.
The transfer has sparked much debate, with many shocked that United were prepared to part with such an enormous fee for a relative unknown, while others accused the club of panic buying when their first-choice targets became unavailable.
The situation was not helped by reports that Red Devils captain Wayne Rooney had to ask his teammates who Martial was.
However, Saha has no such doubts and is convinced the young striker will be a sensation at the club.
"He's got that speed, that power, he's got that youth in him so he'll surprise a lot of defenders because they don't know him," said Saha.
"It's a great asset for Manchester United and that's what they needed because up front they lack speed sometimes.
"In France we call him the next Thierry Henry because he can play left or right, he's got a great ability with the ball, he can take on three, four players with ease, there is no problem.
"At the same time, the new generation have no fear. He's got such an ability that he can win trophies for Manchester United I believe that, but I don't want to put too much pressure on him."
