Cambridge United vs Luton Town preview - Cambridge looking strong for Luton test

Cambridge boss Richard Money expects to have a full squad to choose from for the League Two clash with Luton.

Midfielder Keith Keane could return from illness and striker Barry Corr (ankle) may also be in contention.

Defender Mickey Demetriou made his debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy loss to Dagenham on Tuesday night and could continue against a Luton side without a league win this term.

There is a developing rivalry between the Us and the Hatters and Money is excited by the game, saying: "The fixture has become a real go-to-game in the calendar. There have been some very exciting, tough and competitive close games between us."

Luton are set to be without midfielder Cameron McGeehan after he was suspended by the Irish FA for rejecting a call-up to the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad.

The League Two club await the outcome of their appeal, which they expect on Saturday morning, but know they that are without the suspended Jack Marriott, and Paddy McCourt, who is on international duty with the Northern Ireland senior team.

Hamstring problems could yet keep Dan Potts and Nathan Doyle out of action, while Paul Benson is being monitored after suffering a neck injury.

Scott Cuthbert faces a late fitness test, also owing to a hamstring injury, and manager John Still must make a decision between goalkeepers Elliot Justham and Mark Tyler.
