Faissal El Bakhtaoui continued his goal-scoring start to the season as Dunfermline beat Stranraer 3-1 in Scottish League One.
Moroccan forward El Bakhtaoui gave Dunfermline a 14th-minute lead, netting his 12th goal in eight games when he completed a quick break by the home side, following an attack led by Michael Paton.
The Pars' advantage was doubled eight minutes later through Jason Talbot, who headed Joe Cardle's cross beyond the reach of goalkeeper David McGurn.
Dunfermline added a third when Cardle's shot was parried six minutes into the second half, Andy Geggan reacting quickest to give Allan Johnston's side a comfortable lead.
Substitute Jamie Longworth pulled one back for Stranraer with 56 minutes on the clock, netting after coming on to replace Paul Cairney midway through the first half.
Paton nearly made it four as his effort was saved and Stranraer squandered late chances as Christopher Aitken and Steven Bell went close.
