Posted Sunday, August 30, 2015 by PA
Brechin City lost their fifth consecutive league game of the season after going down 3-1 at Albion Rovers.
Ross Dunlop, John Gemmell and Andy Barrowman were all on target for the hosts.
Albion took the lead after 23 minutes through Dunlop but Brechin had the chance to equalise straight away when Andrew Jackson was fouled in the box.
Craig Johnston converted the penalty before Albion were awarded a spot-kick of their own. Paul Willis was fouled in the area and Gemmell stepped up to put his side 2-1 up.
Albion looked to have the game more or less wrapped up just after half-time when substitute Barrowman headed in his first goal for the club.
Brechin were awarded a second penalty but it was saved by Ross Stewart.
