Hibernian right-back David Gray has recovered from a back injury ahead of the Ladbrokes Championship match against Raith.

Midfielder Fraser Fyvie will be assessed after going off with a tight hamstring during the League Cup win over Stranraer but Jordan Forster remains out with a hamstring injury.

Daniel Handling is out with a serious knee injury while Farid El Alagui is fighting his way back to fitness following knee surgery.

Raith Rovers will be without skipper Jason Thomson after they lost their appeal against his red card against against Stenhousemuir.

Ross Callachan has been ruled out after suffering a shoulder injury and Lewis Vaughan continues to be absent due to a knee problem. However, new signing Jon Daly could start.

The Kirkcaldy side head for the capital with a spring in their step after defeating Premiership Hamilton 2-1 in the cup in midweek, with manager Ray McKinnon saying: "We played really well and that gives us a lot of confidence for Easter Road.

"If we can play like that again then we have a chance."
