Accrington Stanley vs Northampton Town preview - Clean bill of health for Accrington Stanley for visit of Northampton

Accrington Stanley have no fresh injury concerns for their Sky Bet League Two game against Northampton.

Manager John Coleman has a fully fit squad at his disposal and may name an unchanged side from the team that drew 1-1 at Notts County last week.

Shay McCartan is pushing for a place in the squad after returning from a broken wrist last week, but is more likely to feature from the bench.

Stanley lost 5-1 in this fixture in January last season, but won 5-4 in a thrilling encounter at Sixfields back in September.

Josh Lelan returns from suspension for Northampton, but loanee Adam Yates is likely to continue at right-back.

Yates was drafted straight into the Cobblers starting line-up following his move on a one-month loan from Port Vale and appears to have done enough against Newcastle to retain his place despite the return of Lelan, who was serving a one-game ban.

Ricky Holmes misses the trip with the back problem which has ruled him out of the last three matches, while long-term injury absentees Brendan Moloney and Evan Horwood remain sidelined.

Northampton manager Chris Wilder is sweating on the fitness of centre-back Zander Diamond (dead leg) as he aims to help his side avoid a fourth straight defeat.
