Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is holding out for an offer from Everton despite being the subject of enquiries from West Bromwich Albion, per the Daily Mail.
Evans has found first-team football hard to come by recently with Daley Blind being preferred ahead of him at centre-back and has been heavily rumoured with a move away from Old Trafford this summer with just one year remaining of his contract at the club.
The 27-year-old has yet to make an appearance for the Red Devils this season whilst a combination of a ban for spitting and injuries meant that he only made 14 appearances last term.
Moreover, he likely to find his spot in the pecking order be pushed even lower with the imminent return of Marcos Rojo to the first team squad.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis will be preparing for life without current centre-back Joleon Lescott with his enquiries over Evans, who has been allowed to leave the club after they sign another defender, according to Sky Sports.
Everton, on the other hand, could be looking for a replacement should defender John Stones leave the club this summer. He has been the subject of three bids from Chelsea, all of which have been rejected, but with the price getting higher and higher each time they might not be able to hold out much longer (per the Irish Times).
