AC MILAN chief executive Adriano Galliani has confirmed that his club are in talks with Liverpool over a loan deal for Mario Balotelli.
The 25-year-old has endured a nightmare spell with the Reds since joining last summer.
Now, the controversial Italian looks set to leave the club for the season and re-join Serie A giants AC Milan.
Galliani confirmed that negotiations have been held but the deal is not finalised yet.
ON THE MOVE: Balotelli is set to leave Liverpool on loan
"There are negotiations with Liverpool for a loan, but we have not reached an agreement on wages," Galliani told Mediaset Premium.
"We want a loan with a portion of the wages paid by us and another portion by Liverpool.
"We want Balo because we are convinced this lad realises that this is absolutely his last chance.
