JUVENTUS are on the verge of snapping up Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado.
The club's chief executive Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Juve will sign the 27-year-old soon.
Sport Mediaset report that Cuadrado will join on a season-long loan deal as he tries to refine his form.
Marotta said: "He's going to join on a season-long loan.
"Only six months ago, he was bought for €35m and today this opportunity arose and we've seized it and we hope to finalise it [today].
EXIT DOOR: Cuadrado is set to leave Chelsea
"It's now up to [Massimiliano] Allegri to work out where the players will play."
Juventus had earmarked Schalke's Julian Draxler but that move failed to materialise.
Now, Marotta is hopeful of completing his deal for Cuadrado instead.
Marotta added: "It's not a real possibility right now because Schalke have vetoed it.
"It's hard to see him coming. But just like how things opened up for Cuadrado, let's just wait and see what happens between now and the end of the transfer window."
