Cheikh Ndoye scored a first-half brace as Angers kept up their 100% start away from home with a 2-0 win at GFC Ajaccio.
The visitors' captain needed just two minutes to put his side in front when he headed Yohann Andreu's delivery beyond Clement Maury from close range.
Ndoye doubled his tally for the evening with just 20 minutes played, pouncing on Ferebory Dore's pass to inflict more misery on the hosts.
And he could easily have had a hat-trick but his second-half header came back off a post as Angers saw out the three points.
