Stevenage Borough vs Hartlepool United FC preview - Sheri to ring changes

Stevenage boss Teddy Sheringham is expected to ring the changes for Saturday's Sky Bet League Two clash with Hartlepool.

The former England forward labelled the midweek loss at Leyton Orient "not good enough" as Boro lost 3-0.

His side have one point from three league games this season ahead of the visit of Pools, who are joint top with a 100 per cent record.

Boro could make changes to the side which has scored just two goals so far this season, although young players such as Jack Storer are likely to remain on the patient on the bench.

Defender Andrew Boyce will be added to Hartlepool's squad after he arrived on a 28-day loan from Scunthorpe on Thursday.

Boyce comes in after it was revealed former Stevenage centre-back Harry Worley will be out for at least a fortnight with an ankle injury sustained at York last weekend.

Goalkeeper Trevor Carson remains sidelined with a fractured toe and full-back Jordan Richards is sidelined with a back problem.

Boss Ronnie Moore is likely to stick with Rakish Bingham, Billy Paynter and Scott Fenwick as the attackers in a 4-3-3 formation having seen Pools win all four of their matches so far.
