Juventus sign £18m Alex Sandro from Porto on five-year deal

JUVENTUS have completed the signing of Alex Sandro from Porto for a fee in the region of £18million.

After four years in Portugal, the 24-year-old has signed a five-year deal to move to the Juventus stadium.
The left-back had been linked with a move to Manchester United but their interest appears to have cooled in light of Luke Shaw's recent performances at Old Trafford.
Sandro signed for Porto from Brazilian club Santos in 2011 and made 86 appearances for the club.
A Brazilian international, he has made six appearances for his country.
United were thought to be monitoring his situation earlier in the summer as signing new full-backs was believed to be a priority for boss Louis van Gaal.
But he has since added Matteo Darmian at right-back and remains happy with the options of Shaw, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo on the left-hand side.
Strengthening his attack appears to be the main focus now, with the Dutchman linked to moves for Southampton's Sadio Mane and Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.
