Liverpool line up shock £15m bid for Dortmund midfield star and Man Utd target Mkhitaryan

LIVERPOOL will bid £15million for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to reports

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is reported to be a transfer target for Liverpool again

The Armenia international has long been on Liverpool's radar and was thought to be close to a move to Anfield before his switch to the Bundesliga giants.

But they could get their man at the second time of asking, with The Daily Mirror claiming they are desperate to secure his services.

His agent fuelled speculation that his future could lie away from Dortmund back in February.

He said: "Henrikh wants to leave Dortmund at the end of the season. We will have to wait and see what we can do."

The 26-year-old, who scored as Dortmund beat Odd Ballklubb 4-3 in their Europa League play-off on Thursday,  has also been linked with Manchester United and retains admirers from all over Europe.

The German giants paid £25million to sign him from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013 but his value appears to have dropped after suffering from injuries in the last campaign.

In 60 appearances for the club, Mkhitaryan has scored 14 goals from midfield.
