Bristol City vs Leeds United preview - Banned Freeman misses Leeds visit

Luke Freeman is suspended for Bristol City's Sky Bet Championship game with Leeds at Ashton Gate on Wednesday night.

The Robins midfielder starts a three-game ban after being sent off for a reckless high tackle on Brentford defender Harlee Dean during the 4-2 home defeat to the Bees on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Frank Fielding is set to miss out again with a shoulder injury, so loan signing Ben Hamer continues to deputise after conceding seven goals in his first two appearances for the club.

Kieran Agard is pushing for his first start of the season following knee surgery but Robins manager Steve Cotterill admits the striker would be unlikely to last 90 minutes.

Leeds will be without suspended teenager Lewis Cook so fellow midfielder Luke Murphy could make his first start of the season.

Cook will sit out the second game of his three-match ban following his recent red card against Doncaster, while Murphy has made two substitute appearances since recovering from minor knee surgery in the summer.

Head coach Uwe Rosler has no new injury or suspension worries but has confirmed he will make further changes for his side's fourth game in 12 days.

Teenager Kalvin Phillips made his first appearance of the season when he started in the goalless draw at Reading on Sunday and could continue, but midfielder Tomasso Bianchi is not ready to return following knee surgery.
