Manchester United welcome Club Brugge to Old Trafford on Tuesday for the first-leg of their Uefa Champions League qualifier hoping to secure an advantage in the tie.
Though level on points with rivals Manchester City and Leicester after the first two games of the season, Louis Van Gaal's men have been anything but convincing in taking maximum points, grinding out 1-0 wins over both Tottenham and Aston Villa.
Van Gaal's side will be desperate to get back into European football's premier cup competition after missing out last year following a seventh-placed finish during David Moyes' solitary campaign at the helm during the 2013/14 campaign.
In team news, Adnan Januzaj has likely eared an extended stay in the starting lineup ahead of Ashley Young following his goal against Villa while MarouaneFellaini is expected to be granted a starting berth against his countrymen.
David De Gea remains out as he ponders over his future but Van Gaal has a fully-fit squad to choose from, with the exception of Phil Jones who is still sidelined with an illness.
Brugge, meanwhile, are stern underdogs in the tie and will do well to leave the Theatre of Dreams without defeat ahead of the return leg at the Jan Breydel Stadium in a weeks time.
However, manager Michel Preud'homme's reign at the club has seen them elevated once more to top of the Belgian game and his shrewd tactics will likely prove a massive asset if they are to topple the Red Devils over two legs.
