Leyton Orient vs Stevenage preview - McAnuff may miss out for Orient

Jobi McAnuff could miss his fourth match in a row as Leyton Orient host Stevenage in League Two.

The 33-year-old former West Ham and Crystal Palace midfielder has trained with Blackburn and is still hopeful of completing a protracted move to the Championship club.

Boss Ian Hendon has already admitted he is keen to help McAnuff secure his switch, pressing on into the season effectively anticipating the departure of one of the club's key players.

Orient go in search of their third win of the new season following Saturday's 3-1 victory over Dagenham and Redbridge.

Mark Hughes will continue in the Stevenage defence after heading home the injury-time equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Newport.

It was the club's first point of the season and boss Teddy Sheringham must decide whether to make changes to compensate for the schedule of three matches in eight days.

Sheringham is expecting a tough game against Orient, who have won both games so far this season.

"We will go to London with confidence but at the same time we will respect them. It should be a good game," Sheringham said.
