Alloa Athletic vs Glasgow Rangers preview - Chopra eyeing Alloa start
Posted Saturday, August 15, 2015 by PA
Alloa will be at full strength for the visit of Rangers, with striker Michael Chopra pushing for a starting place.
The former Newcastle and Cardiff player re-signed for the club last week and was a half-time substitute in their 3-1 defeat to Queen of the South.
He quickly made an impression by setting up Iain Flannigan's consolation goal and will hope that helps him step up to the first XI.
Rangers new boys Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa are fit and available for the game at Indodrill Stadium.
Ball, 20, a defender who can also play in midfield, and 19-year-old Oduwa, a left-sided forward, have both joined from Tottenham on season-long loans.
Manager Mark Warburton has no other injury worries.
