Angers SCO 0 - 0 Nantes : Angers held by Nantes

Newly-promoted Angers remain unbeaten in Ligue 1 after a goalless draw at home against Nantes.
After their surprise 2-0 victory over Montpellier, Angers were brimming with confidence but were restricted to long-range efforts in the first half as Nantes goalkeeper Remy Riou comfortably saved Gilles Sunu's strike.
Sunu, who scored Angers' second in last week's win, should have put Stephane Moulin's side ahead in the second-half. Thomas Mangani's free-kick found the former Arsenal striker but he could only guide his header wide.
Nantes could have snatched all three points in stoppage time when Adrien Thomasson's headed into the path of striker Johan Audel but he failed to hit the target as both sides earned a point.
