Dagenham and Redbridge 1 - 3 Leyton Orient : Capital punishment for Daggers

Leyton Orient emerged 3-1 winners in their London derby with Dagenham in Sky Bet League Two.

The O's maintained their 100 per cent record in the league since dropping out of the third tier and became one of five sides yet to drop a point in the division after two games.

Orient took the lead in the 19th minute when Paul McCallum struck his second league goal in as many games.

A cross was cleared as far as Dean Cox on the edge of the area, who lobbed it back into the path of McCallum to head home.

Nine minutes later the O's found themselves two goals to the good when Lloyd James scored from the penalty spot.

Clevid Dikamona was ruled to have handled the ball when challenging for a corner and James did the honours.

Dikamona was also responsible for committing the fould that led to Orient's third in the 56th minute.

He upended McCallum 25 yards out and Cox put the subsequent free-kick into the top-left corner of the net.

Daggers added a consolation in the final minute when Jamie Cureton lobbed over an onrushing Alex Cisak from the edge of the area.
