Donal McDermott continued his fine start to life at Rochdale by scoring the opening goal in a 2-0 win at Blackpool.
The former Manchester City trainee, who was playing non-league football last season, scored in the Capital One Cup victory over Coventry on Tuesday.
And the forward followed that up by opening his Sky Bet League One account just before the hour-mark at Bloomfield Road before Ian Henderson sealed victory for Dale with a late second.
The visitors started brightly with Henderson and Joe Bunney going close, while Blackpool's first chance came in the 40th minute as Mark Cullen broke clear, but visiting goalkeeper Josh Lillis saved well with his legs.
Bunney tested Seasiders goalkeeper Kyle Letheren in the 57th minute and, moments later, Rochdale took the lead through McDermott, who broke the offside trap before driving the ball home left-footed from 15 yards.
Blackpool had the chance to equalise in the 80th minute, but Cullen headed wide when unmarked from 12 yards and Henderson wrapped up the win by latching on to a weak header from Lloyd Jones before finishing from eight yards.
