Dagenham and Redbridge vs Leyton Orient preview - Doidge set for Daggers role

Dagenham striker Christian Doidge is in line for his first start of the season when Leyton Orient visit Victoria Road on Saturday.
The 22-year-old scored the Daggers' consolation goal in Tuesday night's 4-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Charlton and impressed enough to be in contention for a place in the starting XI, according to first-team coach Darren Currie.
"It's done him no harm, he has had a very good pre-season and has looked very fit and strong, he took his goal well. So Christian has done his chances of starting the world of good, but that will be down to the manager," he told the club's website.
Defender Clevid Dikamona is also likely to retain his place in Wayne Burnett's side for the Sky Bet League Two clash, having slotted straight into the team at The Valley after signing earlier in the day.
Orient will be desperate to bounce back from their late capitulation on Tuesday which saw them concede twice in injury-time to lose 2-1 at MK Dons in the Capital One Cup.
Paul McCallum missed the defeat with a minor knock but the striker is expected to return against the Daggers this weekend.
"It will be a difficult game," Orient defender Alan Dunne told the club website. "But if we go there and show the same quality that we did in midweek then there is no doubt that we can go and beat Dagenham."
Orient kicked off their league campaign with a 2-0 victory against newly-promoted Barnet last Saturday.
