Nottingham Forest vs Rotherham United preview - Osborn could boost Forest

Ben Osborn could be in the Nottingham Forest squad for the first time this season when Rotherham visit the City Ground.

Osborn, who suffered a shoulder injury during the summer, has been back in training following that problem but the midfielder missed the Capital One Cup defeat to Walsall in midweek with food poisoning.

After shipping four goals against the Saddlers, Matt Mills is almost certain to return in the centre of defence.

Reds boss Dougie Freedman is still hoping to get international clearance for Daniel Pinillos to allow him to be involved for the first time on Saturday.

Rotherham could hand a debut to Joe Mattock.

The left-back has returned to training after a month out with an ankle injury sustained in a pre-season friendly at Partick and will be in contention.

If Mattock does start it could mean a move further up the field for Joe Newell, with Aidy White potentially dropping to the bench.

Lewis Buxton has come up fine after his first 70 minutes of the season against Cambridge in midweek and should continue at right-back, but Kirk Broadfoot is banned.
