JOSE ENRIQUE is refusing to be pushed out of Liverpool.
Enrique claims he has been alienated by boss Brendan Rodgers after being left out of the Reds' pre-season tour and overlooked for their opening win at Stoke.
But the left-back, a target for West Brom, believes he can still win back a first-team place at Anfield.
Enrique, 29, told Spanish newspaper Marca: "I'm in a difficult position. The club have alienated (Mario) Balotelli, (Fabio) Borini and me.

BATTLER: Jose Enrique vows to fight for his Liverpool future
"I have a year left on my contract and I imagine the club will want to sell, but I still want to stay and fight as I always have.
"I will not give up. I know from experience that football changes from day to night.
"Plus in the squad here we only have one pure left-back and I know that if I stay I'll play. I want to prove that some are wrong."
Enrique, who joined Liverpool from Newcastle in 2011, has recovered from a major knee injury he suffered two years ago but is now behind Alberto Moreno and new summer signing Joe Gomez in the defensive pecking order.
