Bordeaux 1 - 2 Stade Reims : Siebatcheu stuns Bordeaux
Posted Monday, August 10, 2015 by PA
Youngster Theoson Jordan Siebatcheu scored his first ever Ligue 1 goal as Reims came from behind to stun Bordeaux 2-1 at the Nouveaux Stade Bordeaux.
Everything seemed to be going to plan for Willy Sagnol's side when some poor goalkeeping allowed Wahbi Khazri to hand the hosts a half-time lead.
However, with just 10 minutes left on the clock, Reims struck twice to leave Bordeaux without a home win on the opening day of the season since 2009.
Firstly, Nicolas de Preville levelled at the second attempt after meeting Greyjohn Kyei's near-post delivery before 19-year-old substitute Siebatcheu stole the headlines, capitalising on some poor Bordeaux defending to fire beyond Cedric Carrasso and steal the points.
