Norwich City will make their return to the Premier League when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday, hoping to get their campaign off to a winning start.

The Canaries beat Middelsborough in the play-off final to secure their return to the top flight and boast the youngest manager in the division in Alex Neil, who led the club to an impressive run of 15 wins from 22 matches after taking over in January.

The 34-year-old Scot will likely hand a debut to former West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans but former teammate Youssouf Mulumbu is not expected to feature after fracturing his foot in pre-season.

The club's marquee signing, Robbie Brady, will also be in-line for a start following his move from relegated Hull City while Andre Wisdom, on loan from Liverpool, is expected to start at right-back.

Martin Olsson and Kyle Lafferty are two players that aren't available, however, as they are nursing shoulder and knee injuries respectively.

Palace, meanwhile, will be confident of getting a win at Carrow Road following an off-season of great business from Alan Pardew that has seen Yohan Cabaye, Jordan Mutch, Alex McCarthy and Connor Wickham arrive at Selhurst Park.

Wilfried Zaha has also made his loan from Manchester United permanent and Pardew will be hoping the new signings integrate seamlessly as they look to improve on their impressive 10th-place finish last season.

Pardew will hand late fitness tests to Yannick Bolasie (hamstring) and new signing Cabaye (knock), though both are expected to shake off their ailments in time for the clash on Saturday.
