Angel Di Maria joins PSG from Man Utd

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria today, signing the Argentina international on a four-year deal.

The move hardly comes as a surprise to fans and pundits alike, after rumours gathered pace over the last few weeks that Di Maria was on the verge of joining the Parisian giants.

Di Maria was pictured late last week in what was believed to be in Doha where he was undergoing his medical and the move has now been finalised.

BBC Sport report that the deal to take Di Maria to the Parc des Princes has cost Laurent Blanc’s side £44.5 million, which means Manchester United will have lost out on roughly £15 million over the last 12 months.

Di Maria only joined the Red Devils last year after moving from then Champions League holders Real Madrid, but after a troubled 12 months at the club Louis van Gaal opted to move him on.
