Newcastle manager Steve McClaren has refused to rule out further arrivals at St James' Park ahead of their opening clash with Southampton.
The Magpies have already brought in Gini Wijnaldum, Chancel Mbemba and Aleksandar Mitrovic in the off-season as they look to avoid another poor campaign after narrowly avoiding relegation last season.
McClaren says he is satisfied with the state of his current squad but remains open to further business, should the right player become available.
“You come to the stage in the window when we have kind of done our business," the former Middlesborough manager told the Chronicle Live.
“Graham Carr and Lee Charnley have been searching for six months, a year on bringing players in.
“When you are looking at the market we are looking in and you are looking at £10million plus players, they are harder to get.
“Will there be more? “We are always on the look out and always open to that as I know the board are.”
