FC Groningen 0 - 3 Southampton: Southampton make winning start

Southampton got their pre-season trip to Holland off to a winning start with a 3-0 win against FC Groningen.
Jose Fonte, Sadio Mane and Graziano Pelle were all on target as the Saints cruised to victory in front of a crowd of more than 12,000 against manager Ronald Koeman's first club.
Fonte headed the opening goal in the 24th minute, Mane steered home an easy finish after a sweeping move to make it 2-0 in the 52nd minute and substitute Pelle struck a third after being set up by Dusan Tadic.
Southampton face Dutch fourth-tier side KVV Quick 1920 on Tuesday evening and sign off their mini-tour with a game against Koeman's former club Feyenoord on Thursday.
