Roy Hodgson's men will take on the world champions for the first time since November 2013 when they travel to Berlin ahead of Euro 2016, with Italy also to face Joachim Low's side
England will take on world champions Germany in a friendly in Berlin on March 26.
Joachim Low's side, who triumphed in Brazil last year, last faced the Three Lions in November 2013, when Per Mertesacker scored the only goal in a 1-0 win.
Italy will provide the competition for Germany in Munich three days afterwards, with the two nations' last encounter also having come in November 2013, a 1-1 draw.
Germany are keen on testing themselves against "large and powerful football nations" ahead of Euro 2016 in France, sitting second in Group D of qualifying after six matches.
"These are exactly the games that everyone wants," said Low's assistant coach, Oliver Bierhoff.
"It was important that we measure ourselves in the few dates that we can use for friendly matches, with large and powerful football nations."
