Watford smash transfer record for Capoue

Watford have announced the signing of midfielder Etienne Capoue from Tottenham for a club-record fee believed to be around 5.7million.
The 26-year-old has penned a four-year contract with the Barclays Premier League new boys, and is now set to join up with the Hornets for pre-season training.
France international Capoue joined Spurs from Toulouse under previous head coach Andre Villas-Boas in 2013 and featured consistently for the Portuguese boss, but he struggled to maintain a first-team place under successors Tim Sherwood and Mauricio Pochettino.

Capoue has made just 19 Premier League starts in two years and did not appear in a Tottenham match-day squad in any competition after January 24 this year.
