Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson feels the pre-season tour to Asia and Australia is perfect for coach Brendan Rodgers to get the team to gel together.
Especially since new signings, midfielder James Milner and striker Danny Ings, are expected to be part of the squad.
The first match will be in Bangkok later this month then Liverpool will travel to Australia for two fixtures and will also be going to Kuala Lumpur.
Henderson told LFCTour.com: "It's good to go away on pre-season, not just for us as players but for the fans that can't travel all the way over to England to watch games and training.
"It's important that we go there and they can see us first-hand. And obviously for the players to be together for a couple of weeks is good, to make sure that we're all on the same page and wanting to do the same thing.
"For the new lads, it's a case of getting to know each other and gelling as a team, ready for the first game," he added.
