Manchester United tell Real Madrid to smash transfer record for David De Gea

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly told Real Madrid to smash the world transfer record for a goalkeeper if they want to land David De Gea.
The Red Devils appear to be resigned to losing the Spanish shot-stopper this summer.
De Gea's move to Real gathered pace yesterday when he put his house up for sale.
United are looking to land Sergio Ramos as part of the deal, with the defender increasingly agitated at the Bernabeu.
But The Manchester Evening News claim United would only consider letting De Gea leave if a world record fee is made for him.
The suggest United would even be prepared to let him wind down contract and risk losing him for nothing next summer.

David De Gea won't come cheap for Manchester United
However, it is thought the Red Devils recognise the huge value of De Gea, hence why they have slapped a big price tag on him.
Gianluigi Buffon still holds the world record for being the most expensive goalkeeper when he moved from Parma to Juventus for £32.6m in 2001.
