LIVERPOOL are considering going to war with Manchester United for Brazil ace Roberto Firmino.
The Reds have kept tabs on the Hoffenheim attacking midfielder.
They are now mulling over a move, but they are not waiting to see if Raheem Sterling will leave the club.
Liverpool have rejected two bids from Manchester City and want £50m or they will not let him go.

Firmino, 23, is currently at the Copa America with Brazil as United boss Louis van Gaal also monitors him.
The midfielder has become one of the hottest properties in Europe after his displays for the Bundesliga club this season.
It is believed he would cost between £13m and £15m and would link up with compatriots Philippe Coutinho and Lucas at Anfield.
Firmino's agent Robert Wittmann said earlier this week that his client is keen on a move to England.
