Barcelona have informed Martin Montoya, Adriano, Jordi Masip and Douglas that they are free to leave the Camp Nou this summer.
This is according to the Mirror - with the report originating from Spanish newspaper Sport - who understand Luis Enrique is ready to shake things up after winning the treble last season.
Despite the squad’s recent success, there are several players who have been deemed surplus to requirements - and the aforementioned quartet are amongst them. Talented winger Gerard Deulofeu is another player who will leave the Camp Nou, with the Catalan giants having reached a £3 million agreement with Everton.
Montoya almost certainly would have stayed had Dani Alves left Barcelona this summer. The 24-year-old will find himself behind both the Brazil international and summer signing Aleix Vidal once the latter is eligible to play for his new employers in January.
The former Spain Under-21 international has made 67 appearances for Barça since his first-team debut in 2011, but has failed to progress in the manner many hoped he would.
