Man Utd eye BARGAIN deal for Turkish star after Nicolas Otamendi setback

MANCHESTER UNITED are eyeing a bargain move for Galatasaray defender Semih Kaya, according to reports.

Reports today suggested that Valencia would insist United paid the full £35million release clause to land Nicolas Otamendi.

And that could see United turn to more cost-effective alternatives.

Reports in Turkey suggest that the Red Devils will now move for Kaya.

According to Fanatik, Louis van Gaal has been tracking the player for some time and will now make a £5.5million move.

It is claimed that Van Gaal is keen to bring in the 24-year-old to help keep the average age of his squad down.

Inter Milan are also thought to be keen on Kaya, with Roberto Mancini having worked with Kaya during a brief stint in charge of Galatasaray last year.
