Benitez tells Nacho he is staying

Rafa Benitez has begun his reign at Real Madrid. The Spaniard is already holding talks with some of his new players.
One of the first players to meet with the club's new boss was Nacho Fernandez. The defender and his manager had a chat at Valdebebas in which Benítez told the versatile player he had plans for him, just as club sources had previously told MARCA.
Jose Mourinho gave Nacho his first-team debut in April 2011. The following season he alternated first-team training with his role at Real Madrid Castilla, but during the summer of 2012 he was promoted to the first team squad. Ancelotti had faith in him, just as Rafa Benitez does now.
The Spain international's agent, Jose Segui has been contacted by several top clubs like Arsenal, Porto and Sevilla, but Nacho's preference was always to stay at Real Madrid, something that Benitez will now make sure happens.
The club's board has not listened to any offers for him. Nacho features heavily in their plans and that is what they have told Jose Segui, just as the club's new boss told Nacho during their conversation at Valdebebas.
