Guingamp vs Toulouse preview - It's time to move on - Arribage

Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage has told his players to forget last weekend's thrilling victory over Lille and "finish the job" of securing Ligue 1 survival.

Two goals in the last 10 minutes saw Toulouse come from behind to beat Lille 3-2 and claim a crucial victory in the fight against relegation.

Arribage's side are now five points clear of the bottom three with two games remaining and can guarantee their safety with a win at Guingamp on Saturday.

"It's true that what we did against Lille was incredibly positive," Arribage told Radio France Bleu.

"It was the way we succeeded in turning the game around and the way we managed to light up the stadium to create an incredible atmosphere which helped us survive.

"We have to move on from that now and always remember that we are not yet mathematically safe.

"We must finish the good work we have done since the start of the season - to spoil all that really would be terrible.

"My philosophy is to improve the things we have perhaps not done so well. The aim is to keep getting better."

Guingamp earned a 1-1 draw in the reverse meeting in December and currently sit 11th in the table.

Toulouse have an excellent record against sides in Brittany this season, having already beaten Lorient once, Rennes twice and taken four points against Nantes.

"I have been told other statistics saying we always lost to Guingamp so we hope to continue one fact and stop another," Arribage said.

"We are going to get a result against a team that is playing its final home game and who will want to complete what has been a great season for them.

"They had a fantastic run in the Europa League (they reached the last 32) when you consider their squad - we thought it would be difficult for them to maintain their energy in the league.

"I think they will want to celebrate their season with their fans - the stadium will be full and there will be a great atmosphere."

Toulouse host Nice in their last league game of the campaign and Arribage hopes his team's top-flight status will be secured before the final day.

"We have the chance to stay up on Saturday," Arribage added.

"I hope we will take the chance but if disaster strikes, we will have to get ready for Nice.

"We are prepared for that, when I took the team we knew it would be hard right until the end.

"The pressure is on to get a result but I don't think the pressure will affect us."
