David De Gea was seen on a flight from England to Spain on Monday in what could be a worrying sign for Manchester United fans.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been heavily linked with a possible summer move to Real Madrid and his trip back home may have cast some doubt on his future at Old Trafford.
But the Daily Mail reports that De Gea was given some time off by manager Louis van Gaal and merely went back to his home city to see family and friends.
De Gea flew easyJet from Liverpool to Madrid on Monday evening as the rumours regarding his potential move to the Santiago Bernabeu continue to circle.
